The Municipality of Andravida-Killini belongs to the Prefecture of Ilia and its current form is due to the consolidation of the former municipalities of Andravida, Vourasia, Kastrou-Killini and Lehena, according to the Kallikratis program.
The municipality has an area of ​​354.12km2 and a population of 21,581 inhabitants, based on the latest census of 2011.

Lechena is an area of ​​rich biodiversity. The northern part of the municipality is dominated by the Kotychi lagoon, which is washed by the Ionian Sea and is an area where the caretta-caretta turtles are breeding.
