The Municipality of Loutraki-Agioi Theodoron belongs to the Prefecture of Corinth in the Peloponnese and consists of the former municipalities of Loutraki-Perachora and Agion Theodoroi, according to the Kallikratis program.
The area of the municipality is 293,23km and has a population of 11,564 inhabitants.
The seat of the Municipality of Loutraki-Agioi Theodoroi is Loutraki, which is geographically owned in Central Greece.
Loutraki is the most touristic area of the prefecture. Since 1925 it has been recognized as a spa town and here was the first casino. The area of Loutraki was first inhabited by 3,000 BC.
One of the most important constructions of the municipality and the country in general is that of the Corinth Canal joining the Saronic Gulf with the Corinthian Gulf and the Isthmus of Corinth joining Central Greece with the Peloponnese. The idea of the ministry dates back to the years of the tyrant Periadorus who ruled Corinth (667-587). But the construction of this great work was completed in 1893, after several years of work.
